A British TV show featured a woman with a mayonnaise phobia. She says it all started when her mother terrorized her with packet of mayo.

The 25-year-old woman, who goes by one name

– Shiseido—says her mom thought it was funny

chasing her around the kitchen with condiment

packets. At the time, she was only  and the scene

stigmatized her. She can’t eat, touch, or even

look it. That includes other people at the table

eating mayonnaise. Shiseido says (quote)

“Mayonnaise freaks me out because it isn’t right.

The consistency of it – that stuff is slimy.”
