
PAT KRUGER, an architect who's known in his Seattle neighborhood for over-the-top holiday displays, created the illusion of a tree crashing thru the roof with a 14-foot tree cut into two pieces.
A few concerned people have stopped by the house asking "what happened" but for the most part, neighbors are getting a kick out of it.
For what it's worth, his wife drives a car with the license plate “GRSWLDS,” a not-so-subtle reference to the Clark Griswald movie character made famous by Chevy Chase.
