My name is Ronnie, I am from Syracuse NY. I have been living in Syracuse all my life. I love it here. My family, my friends are all here. I love my WIFE, family, friends, music, beer, traveling and meeting new people. I began my college education at Onondaga Community College. I graduated with an associate's degree in electronic media communications with a concentration in TV/news production. In 2005 I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in American studies. I concentrated on documentary filmmaking while there. During my senior year, I completed a 30-minute documentary entitled 65 Roses: Living With Cystic Fibrosis. That project made me realize how important documentary filmmaking was to the world. I kept in touch with friends from Fredonia State and luck would have it....one of my friends called me up one day and told me about a post on craigslist.com. Discovery/Travel Channel was looking for 5 young filmmakers to go to Europe for the summer and capture everything on video. I applied right away...excited at the possibility of going to Europe and working for the Travel Channel was plenty enough for inspiration. I have been telling people for years that my dream job was to work for the Travel Channel. So this was it. The dream job. Fresh out of college. In a few more weeks I headed to Europe with the crew and cast. If you couldn't already tell....I love Europe. It went by so fast. The best time of my life was over in Europe. I made some amazing friends and had unforgettable experiences. During the last few weeks in Europe I got the e-mails and phones rolling. I wanted to do more. So about a month after I got back from Europe I met with Executive Producers again and they laid this idea down on me about walking the 40th Parallel. It aired in March and April of 2007. The pilot still sits on the Travel Channel shelves however. I am continuing my career in radio doing on-air work and I am the online video guru. I currently LOVE what I am doing...I produce The Kathy Rowe Show. What can I say...I love Kathy. It is pretty easy waking up so early to work at such a great job.
